the fertile hope experience  

1) Claim your free discovery phone call, and chat with Brooke about your session vision, packages, and any questions you may have. I'm here for you, girl!

2) Schedule the session that speaks to your season of life. You will have access to photographer guidance leading up to the session and communication the day of.

3) It's session day! P.S. Don't fret about how you will pose in photos. I got you, girl!

4) This is what you're really waiting for... reveal day! I do mine virtually so that you can wear your jammies and let the kiddos run wild. This is where you see your gorgeous images for the first time and select which ones you want as digitals, prints, wall art, and priceless heirlooms.

  • What is a fertility session?
    Fertility can carry a different meaning in every season. It could be an embrace of your womanhood, the claiming of your womb. It could an honoring of your connection to spirit baby who is not yet formed. It could be commemorating the endearing love and strength between you as a couple while you navigate the TTC journey. You bring your story. I will bring my heart, my ears, and my camera (and perhaps even a gorgeous flower bouquet for you to incorporate into your photos!)
  • Where will my photo session take place?
    Fertile Hope Photography is an on-location photography studio serving the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, meaning, I utilize our natural surroundings and natural light to capture the moment.
  • What if there is inclement weather?
    In the event of inclement weather, I will reach out to you the day before your session with the opportunity to reschedule, and the rescheduling fee will be waived in that case. As far as lighting goes, I can find the perfect spot in every lighting scenario, so no need to worry!
  • What do I bring to my session?
    Bring the essentials like water, snacks, maybe bug spray, additional walking sneakers, and things that might motivate the kiddos such as a pack of fruit snacks or a favorite teddy bear to play with. You are encouraged to bring something meaningful to incorporate as a prop if desired, whether that be an ultrasound, pair of booties, or special necklace. For feminine and fertility sessions, you get a complimentary fresh flower bouquet from me to use as a prop which we will coordinate based on how you feel it symbolizes your fertile spirit.
  • How will I change outfits?
    Sessions are generally one hour long, so it's up to you if you would like to use the entire time for photographing in one outfit or to do a quick wardrobe change. Alternatively, we could adjust the session pricing for a time increase to add another outfit and/or location. If you decide on a location that does not have easy access to a changing area, then I can bring with me a pop-up changing pod that will do just the trick.
  • How much do sessions cost?
    During your free 15-minute discovery call, we will discuss pricing packages in more detail, but here's a peek: your session fee deposit will hold your session date and time. Session fees range from $150 to $350 depending on the session type. There are multiple digital and heirloom packages to choose from: digital packages start at $250, and custom wall art is priced according to your desires and budget! Also, if you are a military family, then please let me know! ♡
